Ride along the banks of the Lez, on a superb cycle path which will take you to Palavas. No difficulty, this course is suitable for everyone, whether you are sporty or not.
On the way, you can first go through the Halles du Lez, where you can taste all kinds of food or simply have a drink in the sun. Then discover Port Ariane in Lattes, a magnificent port surrounded by original and colorful architecture. Take a break at the Maison de la Nature to observe the fauna and flora at the edge of the ponds. Stop near the Salins stables where many horses await your affections… Walk along the Camargue and meet its inhabitants: the pink flamingos! As you will have understood, numerous points of interest will punctuate your cycling route.
In Palavas, enjoy the magnificent stretches of beache, wilder on one side, and more urban on the other.
A little detour towards the Cathedral of Maguelone passing among the ponds along the canal? It’s possible and it’s worth it!

Head towards the famous seaside resort of La Grande Motte.

Follow the Lez river and ride through the middle of the Pérols and Or ponds following the dike. Observe the nature around you and the calm of this peaceful environment. Discover La Grande Motte, its seaside getaway lined with palm trees, its marina, its numerous shops where you can eat. This route guides you to the natural peninsula of Ponant.
